FCD Mapper

FCD Mapper is a Semi-Expert remote sensing system to calculate Forest Canopy Density (FCD). It was developed by the International Tropical Timber Organization. Because I did not have FCD Mapper before, I used ENVI classic to obtain the FCD values. Now having the original software, I will explore it and compare the results, they suppose to be equal, but you never know.



I am about to start working with the FCD Mapper Ver 2.0. But first, I will have to go and buy an old computer from NEXTSTEP, a recycling-reusing computer store. FCD Mapper only works on Windows 95, 98, XP, or NT2000.
